What is a certification?
Certification means that an accredited certification body – in this case QMS International – evaluates your management system in accordance with the relevant standard. Once the certification process audit has been successfully completed with a positive assessment, your organization will receive a certificate. By means of the certificate you can demonstrate that your company meets the requirements of the standard.
Who should apply for a certificate?
A request for certification can be applied within any type of organization that wishes to demonstrate that the organization meets customer requirements and legislation and wants to show that it complies with its own established procedures.
Who will perform the certification/audit?
One of our auditors will perform the initial audit. Out auditors work in accordance with EN ISO 19011:2011, which describes the guidelines for performing audits of management systems. Furthermore, we select auditors on the basis of specific knowledge and skills in the field and industry.
Can I give a preference for a specific auditor?
First of all, QMS International will be responsible and selecting its auditors in compliance with the day to day planning. In this planning we consider the auditors qualifications, art of your branch, size of organization, and travel distance. It is possible to indicate your preference for a specific auditor. Should you nevertheless have your own preference (despite this QMS International’s selective decision), you may indicate this.
What costs are associated with a certification?
The costs of a certification are dependent on art of your branch, complexity, size of the organization and the number of standards that you wish to be certified.
How can I request a quotation?
You can easily get in touch with us via our website. You can fill out the contact form and we will contact you within 48 hours or you can fill in the call-back form. In other cases, we will first send a request form on which you can fill out the company information and further preferences. QMS International is able to create a suitable quotation based upon your company information.
Is integration between standards possible?
Many customers already use an Integrated Management System, (IMS) where different standards are combined in one manual. Many ISO standards overlap each other. For example, the ISO 9001 standard can easily be integrated with ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001. Remember, this is just an example. Where can I find the step-by-step certification plan?

How long is my certificate valid for?
On the basis of accreditation, QMS International is bound to employ a contract period of 3 years. After these 3 years, there will be an automatic re-certification.

What does QMS International do with the customer satisfaction questionnaires?
As a certification body we pay the highest attention to the customer satisfaction questionnaires we receive from our customers. First, we (transparently) publish the results every six months on the website for our customers and potential customers. We also take any concerns very seriously and provide customers with feedback on any associated actions. We are extremely proud of the way in which our customers play a role in the improvement process within QMS International.
